According to an official announcement released by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority (INPA), and reported on Hot News, it was decided to close a series of sites in the north of the country to travelers until Monday, June 1, 2026, in the evening. The decision was made in accordance with the updated instructions of the Home Front Command.
The list of closed sites in the Upper Galilee region includes the Achziv, Yehiam, and Bar'am national parks, as well as the Nahal Iyon, Snir, Hula, and Nahal Amud nature reserves. Additionally, the Hurshat Tal and Tel Hazor national parks were closed. According to the report on Hot News, similar restrictions also applied to the Golan region, including the Tel Dan and Banias reserves, Nimrod Fortress, and the Zavitan trails in the Yehudiya reserve (while the Yehudiya trail itself remains open).
The channel Weather Ltd. echoed the instructions and noted that in the Lower Galilee, the following sites were closed: Korazim National Park, Capernaum National Park, and the Ein Afek Nature Reserve.
At the same time, the channel Ziv Rubinstein - Until the war ends, which consistently follows security developments, confirmed the list of sites and emphasized that this is a step taken "in accordance with the Home Front Command instructions" for the traveling public in the conflict zones in the north.
