A hacker group calling itself "Hanzala" published messages on May 31, 2026, stating that it had managed to breach the information systems of the "National Center for Assistance to Holocaust Victims" (k-shoa.org). According to the reports, the group claims to have stolen over two million classified documents with a volume of over a terabyte, which it published for download on its website.
The reports come from several media outlets identified with Iranian and pro-Iranian elements, including آخرین خبر and SNN.ir|خبرگزاری دانشجو. According to the publications, the group claims that the documents allegedly reveal "ties and financial assistance from Israeli defense companies" to the center's activities. The Student News Network SNN noted that the operation was dedicated to "Hezbollah's FPV forces."
Additional sources, such as اسلام آبادخبر, presented the event as part of an ideological struggle, using sharp rhetoric against the center claiming that it is a "symbol of falsification and distortion of history". The site even speculated about the future of the published data.
