The election campaign at Fenerbahçe is escalating, as presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım focuses his efforts on an ambitious sporting plan. Yıldırım declared that he is working to "restore leadership" to the club and promised to sign two top strikers as early as next week, emphasizing: "We want to be champions and we will build a strong team". Referring to the club's past, Yıldırım attacked the management of the last two years and claimed that "it is necessary to stop the failures", while considering names like Sørloth and clarifying that he is monitoring the player market in Brazil.

On the other hand, candidate Hakan Safi is gaining the support of his associates who emphasize his financial robustness; according to Metin Sipahioğlu, Safi has contributed about 50 million euros to the club in the last 15 months. Safi was also spotted in Budapest together with Paolo Maldini to advance contacts with potential coaches and new players, a move intended to prove professional seriousness beyond the disputes over his rhetorical abilities.

In an interview with TRT Spor, Hacıosmanoğlu called for an end to the phenomenon of the "foreigners' dump" and claimed that clubs are collapsing financially because of uncontrolled acquisitions. "Those who want foreigners should invest in youth", he declared, adding that the federation does not intend to surrender to the clubs' pressures regarding the foreign player quota, as according to him, there is enough local talent that can lead the country.
