Reports: UAE Participated in Airstrikes Against Iran
According to reports circulated in several news channels in Turkey, including Son Dakika Haberler Gündem and Son Dakika Haberler Türkiye, the American newspaper 'The Wall Street Journal' (WSJ) published that the United Arab Emirates participated in dozens of airstrikes against Iran.
According to the cited reports, the move was carried out in close coordination with the United States and Israel. The channel İLKHA, which is associated with conservative-Islamic positions, echoed the publication and noted that it was a "covert strike" carried out with Israeli support.
The reports, which received wide circulation in channels dealing with security and military affairs such as Askeri Operasyon Haberleri, point to deep strategic cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and its Western and regional allies against Tehran. No official response was given by Abu Dhabi or Washington to these claims as of the date of the report on May 30, 2026.
It should be noted that the Turkish sources that dealt with the subject often tend to emphasize Israeli-American involvement in the region, while placing emphasis on the role of Gulf states in complex security equations.
