Wave of crime and violent incidents in various locations across Ukraine

Over the past 24 hours, a number of serious criminal incidents have been reported across the country. According to reports from Реальний Київ | Украина and Левый Берег Киев, in the Dniprovskyi District of Kyiv, a man attacked an elderly couple in their home, threatened them, stayed overnight in their apartment, and fled in the morning with their money and mobile phone. The suspect, who has a criminal record, was arrested by the authorities.

Simultaneously, Київ | Times reported a daylight assault on Trostianetska Street, where young people attacked a woman, possibly using pepper spray. Левый Берег Киев reported another incident near the 'River Mall', where the police were documented using pepper spray and physical violence against female citizens who intervened in an arrest, with mention of the presence of mobilization officers (TCC).

In the Kharkiv region, regional police arrested two women who, according to reports from Суспільне Харків and KharkivOne, robbed an 86-year-old woman of approximately 20,400 hryvnias. The suspects used a "distraction" method under the pretext of international aid. Additionally, in Dnipro, Дніпро Оперативний 🇺🇦| Війна reported a man who stole an electric scooter to "ride around the city" and was arrested by the police.

In the security sector, police in the Kyiv region arrested a resident of the Brovary district for illegal possession of weapons. ✙ Київ Оперативний | Kyiv Operative ✙ notes that during a search, F-1 and RGN grenades, detonators, and a large amount of ammunition were found in his home. At the same time, the channel Ху Київ + | Україна reported on the activities of the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) against online weapons trafficking networks and corruption cases related to draft evasion in Ternopil and Kryvyi Rih.
