The northern front saw a significant escalation in fighting today, with reports from various sources of heavy rocket barrages toward Galilee communities and extensive airstrikes by the Air Force in southern Lebanon. According to a report by IDF Radio, about 15 rockets were launched overnight toward northern Israel, with at least one hitting a commercial center in Kiryat Shmona directly.

Simultaneously, media outlets affiliated with the Axis of Resistance, including the IRGC Telegram channel, reported that Hezbollah operatives targeted the "Meron" Air Force base. According to Al-Arabiya, which is identified with a critical stance toward Hezbollah, the organization even succeeded in downing an IDF "Hermes 450" unmanned aerial vehicle over the Zoutar ech-Charqiyeh area.

On the Israeli side, the IDF continues to carry out extensive strikes. The Akhbar-e-Fori Telegram channel reported that Israel issued evacuation warnings to residents of several villages in southern Lebanon, including Al-Marwaniyeh, Al-Loubieh, and Meidoun, ahead of targeted strikes. Al-Arabiya News Agency added that Air Force aircraft struck a vehicle in the Nabatieh region, and that two Lebanese military personnel were wounded in this strike.

The security situation remains very tense, with the IRNA News Agency noting that sirens were heard across a wide range of settlements in the Upper Galilee. The Fars News Agency, which is affiliated with the Iranian regime, published footage of a hit on a Merkava tank using a suicide drone, a claim that has yet to receive official confirmation from security sources in Israel.
