Large-scale Russian missile attack passes over central and western Ukraine
Throughout the day (May 29, 2026), movement of Russian cruise missiles was reported over Ukrainian territory. According to the monitor monitoring channel, which is identified with real-time technical military reports, two missiles were detected passing through the southern Cherkasy region, on their way to the Smila area, and from there continued toward the border with the Kirovohrad region in the direction of the Uman region.
Following the reports, monitor noted that two additional missiles passed by Uman on their way to the Vinnytsia region. The reports were also verified by the ЗСУ ДВІЖ channel, a channel that presents a clear pro-Ukrainian stance and supports President Zelensky, which confirmed that "two missiles passed over Uman towards Vinnytsia".
Later updates from monitor stated that the missiles passed the Vinnytsia area on their way north, toward the Zhytomyr region. The public in these areas was urged to remain in shelters while air defense systems monitored the missiles' trajectory.
