[74951] Wave of intensive airstrikes in southern Lebanon: Al-Mayadeen network reports on a series of targets

Throughout the day (May 29, 2026), a wide wave of Israeli airstrikes was reported across southern Lebanon. The Al-Mayadeen network, identified with the Axis of Resistance, reported throughout the day on repeated strikes in various areas.

According to Al-Mayadeen reports, Israeli fighter jets carried out strikes in the following towns and areas: Al-Kharaib and Al-Ghassaniya, Jwaya, and the vicinity of the Al-Abbassiyah junction in the Tyre District. Additionally, a strike was reported in Marj Harouf in the Nabatieh District.

Further reports point to strikes in the town of Deir, the town of Al-Sarafand in the Sidon District, and in Shabriha in the Tyre District. The Al-Mayadeen network described the actions as "aggression" (عدوان) by the Israeli Air Force, while detailing additional targets such as Yahmar Al-Shaqif, Al-Bissariyeh, Maaroub, Aita al-Jabal, as well as Kfar Roummane and Nabatieh.

In addition, strikes were reported at the approaches to Shoukin accompanied by artillery fire toward Ali al-Tahar Heights, a repeated strike in Ain Qana – which was also reported by Nablus Post – and a strike in Haboush. The Al-Mayadeen channels, emphasizing the narrative of resistance to "occupation" in their coverage, used terminology that highlights the intensity of the strikes and their wide geographical spread.
