[74056] IDF evacuation warning wave in Lebanon: Planned strikes in villages in the south of the country
Evacuation warnings in Lebanon against the backdrop of security escalation
During the day (May 29, 2026), the IDF Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, issued a series of urgent evacuation warnings to residents of several locations in southern Lebanon. In his announcements, Adraee claimed that "the terrorist Hezbollah" is violating the ceasefire agreement, and therefore the army is forced to act against it "with intensity."
The primary warnings include the villages of Ansariya, Al-Kharaib, Shabriha, Sarafand, Adloun, and Bisariya, with residents called upon to evacuate immediately to the north of the Zahrani River. In addition, a specific warning was issued to the residents of the village of Ain Qana, who were required to move at least 1,000 meters away from the area, as reported also by Quds News Network.
Reports in Arabic media outlets presented the move as preparation for extensive strikes. Al Jazeera emphasized the urgency of the instructions for the village residents, while Anadolu Agency noted that the IDF had already begun strikes in the area of the town of Maaroub, noting that the events are taking place on the third day of Eid al-Adha.
Sources identified with the resistance, such as the Telegram channel South Lebanon, addressed the army's measures critically, using the term "جيش الإحتلال" (Occupation Army) to describe the IDF forces. The reports are accompanied by growing concern among the local population in Lebanon regarding the expansion of the circle of fire following these warnings.
