In the Volgograd region, the wave of attacks claimed lives; according to regional Governor Andrey Bocharov, two civilians were killed and two were injured after drones struck a multi-story residential building and chemical industry and energy infrastructure facilities as reported by RIA Novosti. In Temryuk, in the Krasnodar Territory, the operational headquarters reported a fire in the local port following the fall of drone debris according to Varlamov News, and fuel storage facilities were hit in the Yaroslavl region according to a report by КОНТЕКСТ.
Parallel to the reports of attacks inside Russia, channels identified with the Russian military, such as Рыбарь and Два майора, reported military successes on the ground. They claim that forces of the "North" military group liberated the villages of Budarky and Karaichnoye in the Kharkiv region, and also reported the capture of territories in the Lesnoye area of the Dnipropetrovsk region. These channels present a narrative of steady Russian advancement. In contrast, Ukrainian and international sources such as Deep State note that the Russian reports on the capture of these settlements do not correspond to the situation on the ground.
