The Home Front Command announced that scheduled siren tests will be held in the Gaza Envelope communities throughout the day, Wednesday, May 27, 2026. The tests are intended to ensure the integrity of the alert systems in the area.

According to the IDF Spokesperson - Official Channel, the tests will take place according to the following schedule: at 08:45 in the Ruhama area, at 09:45 in the Erez area, and at 10:30 in the Or HaNer area. The IDF Spokesperson emphasized that "in the event of a real alert, an additional siren will sound, and simultaneously an alert will be activated on the Home Front Command app and through supplementary alert measures."
