During the night and morning of May 22, 2026, the Повітряні Сили ЗС України / Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a wave of drone (unmanned aerial vehicle) attacks aimed at several locations across Ukraine. • Mykolaiv: The city and the region were at the center of the attack. According to a report by the Air Force, drones were identified in the area of the city and residents were instructed to enter shelters. • Sumy and Shostka: According to the Ukrainian Air Force, drones were identified moving toward Shostka from the northeast, and later additional drones were reported approaching the city of Sumy from the southeast.


• Poltava and Kremenchuk: Hostile activity was also recorded in the Poltava region, as aircraft passed near Khorol moving south, and a drone was also identified in the Kremenchuk area according to the єРадар channel.
