Reports of Palestinian fatalities throughout the Gaza Strip

Throughout May 21, 2026, Palestinian media outlets reported a series of lethal incidents attributed to IDF forces. According to Al Jazeera, a source at Shifa Hospital reported one fatality and several wounded from IDF fire outside their areas of control in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.

In the southern sector, an unusual incident was reported in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah. Al Mayadeen and Quds News Network reported the killing of two humanitarian aid truck drivers by IDF fire. Shehab Agency even specified the names of the deceased: Muhammad Abd al-Fattah Ali al-Hila and Mahmoud Nafez Muhammad Awad, describing the event as a "new crime" and publishing video footage of their family members bidding them farewell at Nasser Hospital.

At the same time, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported the evacuation of a body of someone killed by IDF fire in the Al-Qarara area, northeast of Khan Yunis. In another case, Al Mayadeen reported a number of wounded resulting from an attack by an IDF unmanned aerial vehicle that targeted a group of civilians in the Saftawi area in the northern Gaza City.

Quds News Network summarized the events with a report of at least 4 fatalities, including a child, in different areas of the Strip since the morning hours, attributing all casualties to IDF operations on the ground.
