On Thursday, May 21, 2026, Military Media - News Coverage (Hezbollah's media arm) reported a series of attacks against IDF forces. According to the statements, the actions were carried out "دفاعًا عن لبنان وشعبه" (in defense of Lebanon and its people) and in response to what the organization defines as "خرق العدوّ الإسرائيليّ لوقف إطلاق النار" (the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire) and attacks against civilians in southern Lebanon.

In joint reports by Military Media of the Islamic Resistance and Al Jazeera Channel, it was noted that the organization's fighters attacked a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the town of Al-Quzah using artillery shells. At the same time, further attacks were reported in the area of the town of Deir Seryan.

Additionally, Quds News Network reported that the organization carried out an "إغارة ناريّة واسعة" (extensive fire raid) after midnight, which included the use of "مסיّرات انقضاضيّة" (suicide drones) and "صليات صاروخيّة ثقيلة" (heavy rocket barrages) against IDF posts in the towns of Dibil, Rashaaf, and the vicinity of Haddatha.

The organization's official channel described the activity as "بأس حقيقيّ" (true determination) on the battlefield. At the same time, a breakdown of yesterday's events, May 20, was published, which included 24 military communiqués documenting attacks against Merkava tanks, D9 bulldozers, and artillery concentrations, using terms that emphasize consistent ground combat.
