[69503] Reports in the US: Iran is restoring its military capabilities faster than expected
Iran is accelerating the restoration of its military apparatus
According to extensive reports based on American intelligence assessments, CNN reports that Iran is taking advantage of the current ceasefire period to regain military capabilities that were damaged during the recent confrontations with the US and Israel. According to the report, Tehran is renewing UAV production and restoring missile and launcher sites at a rate that exceeded the early estimates of security officials in Washington.
Four different sources cited in Iran International estimated that Iran could restore its full UAV strike capability within just half a year. American officials cited in DW Persian noted that this move casts doubt on the long-term impact of the strikes carried out so far, and emphasizes that Iran remains a "significant threat to the regional allies of the US."
At the same time, Fars News - a media outlet identified with the Revolutionary Guards - cited a report from the New York Times, according to which Iran managed to return 30 out of 33 missile sites along the Strait of Hormuz to operation, and that 90% of them remained operational. This is contrary to previous claims by the Trump administration.
On the other hand, SNN.ir, which is close to the conservative student establishment in Iran, presented a narrative of strategic resilience, claiming that "the strategic infrastructure and local capabilities of the Islamic Republic remain active and powerful" despite the external pressure. Similar reports in the conservative Iranian Telegram community emphasized that the process of restoring the military industrial base is progressing "much faster than expected," thereby confirming the Western reports but in a nationalistic tone.
