During the night hours of Wednesday, May 20, 2026, a 4.7 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was felt in the Hormozgan Province region of Iran. According to reports, the event occurred around 3:10 AM, with the epicenter located near the town of Bandar-e Laft.
