UAVs making their way toward the Yahotyn area

During the morning of May 17, 2026, movement of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was reported toward the city of Yahotyn in the Kyiv region. Ukrainian Telegram channels reporting on security events in real-time are tracking the flight path of the vehicles.

According to Реальний Київ | Украина, a channel that reports continuously on security events in Kyiv, movement of at least one vehicle toward Yahotyn was identified. This report was backed by the Київський купол | Графіки channel, which noted that "one [is] over Yahotyn" and that the vehicle is continuing on its path toward the Cherkasy region.

The Мій Київ | Світло channel also published a short update confirming the presence of UAVs in the airspace toward Yahotyn. The channels are focusing on operational reports and alerts for residents of the capital and its surroundings.

As of this hour, local security officials have yet to provide further details on interceptions or potential impacts in the area in question, and residents in the affected regions are requested to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command.
