‘Atesh’ movement reports sabotage of air defense systems in the Moscow region

According to coordinated reports from several Ukrainian Telegram channels, agents of the “Atesh” resistance movement carried out an act of sabotage against military infrastructure in the suburbs of Moscow. According to ТСН новини / ТСН.ua, which takes a distinctly pro-Ukrainian line, the operation focused on disabling communication towers in the Putilkovo, Kommunarka, and Domodedovo areas.

The reports indicate that these facilities housed electronic warfare (EW) modules, which were used to detect low-altitude targets and coordinate between air defense (anti-aircraft) units. As published in Новини.LIVE, the assessment of the operation is that “the system on the lines close to Moscow has lost some of its observation points,” which may lead to a decrease in Russia's rapid response capability.

UA Stream summarized the event as an operation that “blinded” part of the Russian capital's air defense system. The claims that the EW system “ensured control of low-altitude targets and coordination between units” appear consistently across all sources, which highlight the operational damage as a significant achievement of the partisans on Russian territory.
