According to iluminatibot, a channel known for its engagement with technological theories and criticism of giant corporations, a user reported that when they told the device they were tired, Alexa replied: "That is understandable, especially with you being in nursing school".

The user claimed that they had never shared this detail about their nursing studies with the device. According to iluminatibot, Amazon initially denied that such information was on record, but subsequently admitted that it uses users' "background". The incident gained momentum online with nearly 25,000 views on the original documentation.

The issue also resonated on the QuakerPepe account, which shared the details of the event, highlighting growing public concerns regarding how voice assistants collect and use personal information without the users' knowledge. As of now, the company has not released a detailed official response regarding how the system acquired this specific information.
