Education system updates: Exams in the shadow of uncertainty
The Iranian Ministry of Education has issued new guidelines regarding the holding of end-of-year exams, with decisions being made in accordance with the security situation in each province. According to reports from آخرین خبر, exams for grades 7 to 10 will begin on June 9, with the method of their administration (in-person or online) conditioned on "approval from the security council in each province."
Regarding students in grades 11 and 12, officials in the Ministry of Education noted, as published in SNN.ir, that the holding of the "final" exams, which are decisive for them, has been postponed and is conditioned on "stabilizing conditions until the end of July."
As for in-person exams, the Ministry spokesperson clarified that if it is decided to hold exams at schools, efforts must be made to "reduce student presence" by spreading the exams across different hours and days to prevent gatherings. خبر فوری جنگ ایران reported that in the Hormozgan province, an official decision has already been made to move the exams for primary, middle school, and 10th-grade levels to an online-only format.
The decision reflects alertness in government institutions, as entities such as חامیان پزشکیان emphasize that the authority for decision-making has been transferred to regional councils, with the goal of allowing maximum flexibility in the face of security instability in the country.
