This morning (05/15/2026), a security incident was recorded in the Lower Galilee, as red alert sirens were activated in the communities of Massad and Eilabun. The reports began at 06:57, when news channels reported rocket and missile fire toward the area.

According to a report by 301 News Arab World (identified with a critical stance toward both Israel and Hamas), alerts were received regarding fire in the Central Galilee area and residents were instructed to remain in the protected space. At the same time, News Line, which emphasizes distinctly pro-Israeli positions, confirmed the rocket and missile fire and the activation of alerts in Massad and Eilabun.

About ten minutes after the incident began, News Line updated that the Home Front Command had issued a notice stating that the "incident has ended" and residents in the protected space "may exit." No casualties or damage were reported as a result of the fire.
