The IDF Spokesperson announced today, May 15, 2026, the death in battle of Staff Sergeant Negev Dagan, 20, from Dekel, a soldier in the 12th Battalion of the Golani Brigade. Dagan's death was cleared for publication after his family was notified.
According to a report by military correspondent Doron Kadosh, as cited in NTD Hebrew News and Routine Security, Dagan was killed last night at approximately 22:00 in the Litani area, as a result of a mortar shell strike launched by the Hezbollah organization.
