[60302] Investment channels on Telegram promote marketing content under promises of quick profits
Aggressive marketing activity around 'winning stocks' on Telegram
On May 14, 2026, an increase was identified in the publication of marketing content on the Telegram channels Borsa Haber 🔔 and Borsa Haber Hisse🥇, which offer subscribers access to information about stocks that, according to them, are expected to reach the 'ceiling' (Tavan) price on the stock exchange as early as the next trading day.
According to Borsa Haber 🔔, the channel is working to attract users to a VIP group for a monthly fee of 15,000 Turkish Lira. The operators claim that this is exclusive information not available elsewhere, while using 'breaking news' tags (#SonDakika) to create a sense of urgency among the investing public.
In an additional report published that same day, Borsa Haber 🔔 issued a 'last call' for those joining, limiting the quota to only 10 people. The phrasing in these publications displays clear characteristics of aggressive marketing, aimed at attracting retail investors seeking quick profits in the capital market.
It is important to note that these channels are not authorized investment firms and present a position focused on selling premium (VIP) services to their subscribers. The nature of the publications, accompanied by the #reklam (advertisement) tag, raises doubts regarding the reliability of the promises for guaranteed profits in specific stocks, and highlights the prevalent trend in such financial channels of turning capital market information into a marketing tool for selling memberships in closed groups.
