In a series of tweets, Hellmuth clarified that although other players, including Shaun Deeb and Daniel Negreanu, have participated in a higher number of tournaments throughout their careers, he still maintains his status as the record holder for wins. According to Hellmuth: "It bothered me, but then I realized they don't understand me... and that's okay. I know myself." Hellmuth, known for his high self-confidence that often accompanies his professional style, emphasized that he is at peace with the way he manages his career.
