This morning (May 14, 2026), the city of Kyiv experienced a significant air attack that included reports of explosions and increased military presence throughout the Ukrainian capital. The Telegram channel Левый Берег Киев, which is associated with ongoing local coverage of events in Kyiv, reported a series of incidents in various locations throughout the night and morning.

According to the channel, intense aerial activity was identified over the city, including "reconnaissance" (розвідка) and the deployment of MiG-type aircraft. Local sources noted direct hits in the area of the Boryspilska metro station, and also reported on consequences and attacks in the DVRZ area and in other neighborhoods, including Osokorky and Rumbaza.

In the reports by Левый Берег Киев, which emphasized the sense of anxiety among residents by describing the situation as "horror", it was stated that these were consecutive barrages that included dozens of aerial items that penetrated the airspace. The channel Реальний Київ | Украина added that a situation assessment and aerial patrols are also being conducted across the district.

As of this hour, the authorities continue to examine the damage in the affected locations, with reports pointing to damage to the infrastructure and construction layout in the east of the city, in the area of the left bank of the Dnieper.
