The Iranian Ministry of Education has announced changes to the current school year's schedule. The directive came after students experienced approximately 3 months of remote learning and two weeks of unexpected holidays throughout the year, which forced the ministry to postpone the end of the school year beyond May 21.

In a report by آخرین خبر, which is identified with establishment positions, it was published that the exam start date has been postponed from May 21 to May 30. The Deputy Minister of Education noted that if supplementary lessons are required, schools are permitted to conduct online classes on Thursdays and Fridays, May 28 and 29.

The ministry emphasized in its official announcement that "schools cannot declare the end of the school year earlier than the scheduled time, solely due to the completion of the study material in the textbooks." The move reflects the attempt by the education system to close learning gaps that were created during the year due to external factors and disruptions to the regular schedule.
