Disruptions to train traffic on the Red Line in Kyiv due to air raid alert

During the day (May 13, 2026), significant disruptions were reported in train traffic on the Red Line of the Kyiv Metro. According to official reports from КМДА – офіційний канал, traffic was limited to the range between the "Akademmistechko" (Академмістечко) station and the "Teatralna" (Театральна) station towards the center, and between the "Arsenalna" (Арсенальна) and "Akademmistechko" stations in the opposite direction.

The official source, КМДА – офіційний канал, emphasized that the disruptions occurred concurrently with a "prolonged air raid alert" and called on residents to remain in shelters. Local Telegram channels such as Реальний Київ | Украина and Труха⚡️Київ relayed the reports in real time, detailing the map of changes to travel routes.

Shortly thereafter, all sources, including Київ ІНФО | Новини Україна 🇺🇦 and Київ | Times, updated that "Metro train traffic on the Red Line has returned to normal operations." As of now, service has stabilized and traffic is operating as usual along the entire line.
