During a visit held today by the Chief of Staff to a company of fighters from the Nahal Brigade in Sa-Nur, an unusual disciplinary incident occurred that led to immediate punishment. According to a report by Amit Segal, during the visit, the Chief of Staff noticed a soldier wearing a patch on his vest that read "Messiah".

Following the incident, the Chief of Staff ordered the soldier to be sent to 30 days of detention. The soldier's direct commander was punished with 14 days of suspended detention, while the company commander received a command reprimand. As noted in the publication by Amit Segal, the IDF clarified that "further problems were identified in the company" beyond the specific patch incident.

The report, which was also published simultaneously on the Bitachon Shotef channel, caused a stir on social media. As of now, the IDF Spokesperson has not released further details regarding the "further problems" mentioned in Segal's report, who is known as a political commentator with a conservative-right orientation who frequently deals with issues at the intersection of the military and society.
