According to reports on Telegram channels identified with Islamist elements, the flotilla dubbed the "Global Sumud Fleet" is expected to depart tomorrow, May 14, 2026, from the port of Marmaris in Turkey towards the Gaza Strip. The organizers state that the purpose of the flotilla is to "break the siege" imposed on the strip.
The Daily Islamist channel, known for an editorial line supporting Palestinians and Islamist activity, reported that the flotilla will include 54 vessels and over 500 people will participate in it. The DoğruHaber channel, which presents a conservative Islamic stance, also confirmed the details and emphasized that the flotilla is intended to confront what they call the "Zionist occupation" and the "siege" it imposes.
As of this hour, there has been no report of an official response from Israeli security officials or any special preparation by the Israeli Navy regarding the planned attempt to breach the blockade.
