During the afternoon hours of May 13, 2026, several Telegram channels identified with Iranian and anti-Israeli interests reported extensive airstrikes in southern Lebanon.
According to the report by خبرفوری جنگ🚨اخبارفوری امریکا فوری, Israeli fighter jets carried out strikes at two separate locations in the south of the country. According to the channel's post, this involves "حمله مجدد جنگندههای اسرائیلی به دو منطقه در جنوب لبنان" (renewed attack by Israeli fighter jets on two areas in southern Lebanon).
At the same time, the آخرین خبر channel expanded and noted that the strikes were directed at the towns of Yarine and Burj al-Shamali. In this report, it was written that "جنگندههای صهیونیستی لحظاتی پیش دو شهرک یاحون و برج الشمالی را در جنوب لبنان بمباران کردند" (Zionist fighter jets bombed the two towns of Yarine and Burj al-Shamali moments ago).
