Lavrov: The Trump administration continues Biden's line toward Russia

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is harshly criticizing the foreign policy of the Trump administration, claiming that despite some improvement in diplomatic communication channels, the practical policy toward Moscow remains hostile and identical to that of his predecessor, Joe Biden. According to BITCOIN & CRYPTO POST, Lavrov claims that the US is systematically working to remove Russian companies from all international markets, including in Africa and the Balkans, contrary to public statements regarding attempts at cooperation.

In a detailed report published on DD Geopolitics, a channel known for its distinct pro-Russian line, Lavrov presented a series of claims regarding the American strategy. According to him, "The world is returning to the days when everything is decided by force and without respect for international law." The Russian minister emphasized that, as of now, no joint projects are being carried out between the countries.

• Economic sanctions: The US is trying to push Russian energy giants "Lukoil" and "Rosneft" out of global business.


• Energy and gas: Lavrov claims that Washington aims to take control of gas transit through Ukraine, with the goal of acquiring the shares of European companies in the "Nord Stream" pipelines at a low price and renewing their operations.


• Ukraine: The Foreign Minister accused Kyiv of carrying out deliberate attacks against residential areas in Russia, which he says do not constitute military targets at all.

Lavrov concluded that the Trump administration has an independent aspiration for the economic "punishment" of Moscow, beyond Biden's legacy policy, while attempting to take over cooperation sectors that previously existed between Russia and Venezuela.
