On May 12, 2026, the city of Vinnytsia, Ukraine, experienced severe disruptions to its water supply, as all local communication networks reported a total shutdown of the main pumping station. According to reports from Ukraine's Public Television (Suspilne), as published on the Lachen Writes channel, the city was left without water or with very low water pressure due to problems with the electrical infrastructure.

Reports in the Ukrainian media are characterized by a unified line emphasizing the severity of the situation. The Times of Ukraine channel noted that it involves a "stoppage of a single water station," while the Real War channel called on residents to "create water reserves." The municipal water authority, VinnitsaOblVodokanal, confirmed the details and noted that in addition to the power failures, there were also reports of "flooding resulting from an explosion in a main transmission pipe." According to TSN News, authorities attempted to complete repair work by 8:00 PM.
