An unusual shooting incident occurred today at the Svitlovodsk City Council building in Ukraine, during which two people were wounded by gunfire from the deputy mayor during a confrontation.

An unusual incident shook the city of Svitlovodsk in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine today. According to reports from Suspilne, a confrontation broke out between employees in the city hall building, during which the Deputy Mayor, Serhiy Savich, drew a weapon and opened fire. As a result of the shooting, two people were wounded and were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
The Український Наступ Telegram channel notes that Savich displayed violent and aggressive behavior even before the shooting, making threats and insults toward the City Council Secretary, Maksym Bakumenko. Various sources, including the ҐРУНТ Telegram channel, emphasize that the shooting took place inside the council offices while employees were being evacuated from the scene by security forces.
Novyny.LIVE news agency reports that the local police have confirmed the circumstances of the case and have begun an urgent investigation. According to a report by the UA Stream Telegram channel, Deputy Mayor Savich was arrested by police forces immediately after the incident, his weapon was confiscated, and he is currently undergoing criminal investigation proceedings.
Simultaneously with the main report on Svitlovodsk, the Інформаційний фронт Telegram channel reported on a separate shooting incident in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv, where a suspect was arrested for firing a traumatic weapon during a brawl. As of now, there does not appear to be a connection between the two incidents, with the Svitlovodsk incident also being documented through videos circulated online, as noted in the Око Саурона Telegram channel.
