Ahead of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bayramı), the Istanbul Municipality has entered high alert at distribution and transport hubs for livestock. According to a report by İhlas Haber Ajansı, professionals at shipping points throughout the metropolis report "intensive work" and high activity ahead of the arrival of shipments for the holiday.

At the same time, the website DoğruHaber notes that the shipments have begun to arrive in Istanbul on a regular basis. According to the report, the animals are transferred to designated markets only after undergoing strict inspection and control procedures at shipping points and entrances to the city.

This involves large-scale logistical preparation intended to ensure the health of the animals and the regulation of sales in municipal markets, in accordance with the procedures accepted in Turkey ahead of the main holiday events.
