Escalation on the Northern Border: IDF deepens operations in Lebanon
Tension on the northern border continues, as IDF forces report continued intensive offensive operations against Hezbollah infrastructure. According to Amir Tsarfati's Telegram channel – known for its position supporting Israel's political and security leadership – since the beginning of the ceasefire understandings, the IDF has eliminated over 350 Hezbollah terrorists and struck more than 1,100 targets across southern Lebanon.
At the same time, according to the Mannie's War Room channel, which provides ongoing documentation of security events, additional exchanges of fire were recorded overnight. It is reported that Hezbollah launched a number of rockets toward IDF forces stationed in southern Lebanon. The rockets fell in open areas and no casualties were reported among our forces.
In response to the fire, the Air Force struck approximately 45 targets of the terrorist organization over the past day. According to the report in Mannie's War Room, the targets included "headquarters, observation posts, staging areas, structures used by the terrorist organization and about 10 weapons caches." Additionally, it was noted that the army struck missile launchers and several terrorist cells which "posed a threat to IDF forces" in the sector.
