Over the past day, Arab media outlets reported on a widespread wave of text messages (SMS) sent to thousands of citizens in Israel. According to Al Jazeera and other media outlets such as Arabi21, this is an initiative by Iranian entities threatening to renew missile and UAV attacks against Israel.
Reports in Quds News Network and Shehab Agency claimed that the messages included job offers for Iranian intelligence, alongside threatening messages such as: "The sun and the stars will appear in the night sky soon". The reports were also echoed in channels in Lebanon, among them Lebanon News and Nabatieh Hadrat Jabal Amel, where the message was quoted: "We promised you that soon you will see in the night sky stars that are not stars... soon you will see the sun in the night sky".
These media outlets, mostly identified with the "Axis of Resistance" and the anti-Israeli line, present the event as coordinated psychological warfare. The reports emphasize the use by Iranian intelligence of civilian communication platforms to convey direct threats to the Israeli public, using symbolic and threatening language aimed at creating anxiety among the residents.
