Renewal of Fighting on the Russian-Ukrainian Front

After days of a partial lull, the fighting between Russia and Ukraine has returned to a path of escalation. The Russian Ministry of Defense and the 'Dva mayora' channel reported that the ceasefire has ended and that during the night, dozens of Russian UAVs were launched toward targets in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Zhytomyr. In response, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine would act on the principle of "reciprocity" in response to the launch of over 200 Russian UAVs, as reported by UNIAN.

At the same time, intelligence sources and military bloggers are warning of further escalation. The UNIAN channel notes that Russia is prepared to carry out a combined strike using strategic bombers and ballistic missiles, while the 'Voennaya khronika' channel, which is identified with pro-Russian positions, emphasizes the success of Moscow's air defense systems in intercepting dozens of Ukrainian UAVs over border regions.

In the combat sectors themselves, the attrition of forces continues. The 'Lokhmatyy Z Nikolayev' channel reports on a Russian tactical shift of "slow pressure and continuous attrition" instead of major breakthroughs, while constantly disrupting the logistics of Ukrainian supply lines. Meanwhile, military experts point to the importance of anti-drone technologies. The 'Aleksey Zheleznov' channel reports that Israel has begun establishing a plant for the self-production of FPV drones to deal with Hezbollah's threats, inspired by the lessons learned from the massive use of drones on the battlefields in Ukraine.

Internal discord is also evident on the Russian side. The 'Na Zzzzzapadnom fronte bez peremen' channel harshly criticizes the logistical failures at the front and claims that the "truth of the trenches" is being hidden from the public by official reports, which is leading to an erosion of trust in the management of the campaign.
