A day of widespread air alerts across Ukraine

During May 10, 2026, Ukraine experienced an intense day of air alerts and reports of hostile activity. According to reports from the Повітряні Сили ЗС України (Ukrainian Air Force), drones were detected in the north of the Kharkiv region moving southward, as well as drones that penetrated from the north of the Donetsk region toward Kharkiv.

In the city of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, alarms were activated several times throughout the day. Суспільне Харків reported on a situation where some districts received confirmation that the alarm had ended, while in the city center and the Kharkiv territorial community, the alert remained in effect for an extended period. At the same time, the UA Stream network notes that under the heading of a "ceasefire," the Russians continue non-stop shelling, including strikes on residential buildings.

Additional regions were also under fire: In the Dnipro region, Реאльний Днепр reported on alarms in the Synelnykove district due to fears of the use of guided aerial bombs (KAB), as well as an alarm in the Nikopol district. Simultaneously, in the Sumy region, the channel Женьок Вещає… reported a series of alarms that ended at night, some of which lasted about 17 minutes, and another alarm was triggered toward midnight.

The situation on the ground illustrates the instability and the constant threat to population centers, as local media outlets highlight the gap between statements about calm and the security reality on the ground.
