IDF forces dealt with a severe security incident yesterday (Sunday) on the northern border, during which several explosive drones were launched from Lebanon into Israeli territory. According to the report by Nitzan Shapira on Telegram, the drones exploded near the border in the afternoon, around 16:00.

As a result of the explosion of one of the drones, Master Sergeant (res.) Alexander Globenyov (of blessed memory) was killed. The incident was recognized as a hostile and lethal infiltration that ended in the loss of human life among the reserve forces securing the sector.
