[53951] Wave of advertisements for illegal gambling sites on social networks
Increase in the advertising of online gambling platforms on social networks
In the last 24 hours, there has been a noticeable increase in the marketing activity of gambling sites on Telegram. The channels News 8200 Initial Reports and Israel News Without Censorship (which adopt an editorial line of disseminating initial reports without filtering), published an advertisement promoting the gambling site JVCbet. The site offers a variety of casino games such as roulette, poker, and blackjack, and commits to the "highest odds."
According to the publication, the site allows for deposits to be made via various means, including payment apps such as Bit and PayBox, cash via courier, and even cryptocurrencies. Additionally, the receipt of winnings is promised within a period of up to 24 hours from the moment of the deposit.
Simultaneously, the channel The Israelis Official Main Channel, which presents itself as a community recommending leisure experiences, published a direct link to a poker community that operates its games on the ClubGG platform. According to the channel's announcement, this is "the oldest and largest Israeli poker community in the country," offering daily tournaments and active cash games around the clock.
As part of the attempts to attract new players, the channel offers a "special benefit" to those joining through their link, which includes a 50% bonus on the first deposit, up to a cap of 500 shekels. These are advertisements aimed at an audience looking to participate in online gambling activity, while using direct financial incentives.
