After a lengthy legal process that lasted about six years, the court ruled today (May 7, 2026) in favor of the Prime Minister's wife, Mrs. Sara Netanyahu, in a lawsuit she filed for libel and invasion of privacy against a former employee, Sylvie Gansia. Judge Ilan Ronen ruled that Netanyahu would be compensated in the amount of NIS 100,000.

According to the Kol HaHadashot channel on 🆃🅴🅻🅴🆶🆁🅰️🅼, the verdict was handed down after the judge accepted the lawsuit in full, having determined that "the defense's omissions prevented the clarification of the proceedings for months." This is the second round of ruling, after a previous judgment was canceled due to claims by the defense regarding reserve duty by the lawyer, Ophir Shimshon.

In a report by Moti Kastel - Moti Kastel, it was emphasized that Judge Ronen harshly criticized Attorney Shimshon, labeling his conduct as "demonstrative contempt" for the court's decisions. As a result, personal expenses of NIS 20,000 were imposed on the lawyer.
