Reports of an attack on an IDF bulldozer in southern Lebanon

On May 7, 2026, several Arab media outlets reported on a military operation by the Hezbollah organization against IDF forces in southern Lebanon. According to the reports, the organization used an attack drone to strike a D9 military bulldozer.

Al Jazeera reports that Hezbollah stated that its fighters "used a drone" to strike an Israeli bulldozer in the Khallat al-Raj area of the village of Deir Seryan, claiming a direct hit was achieved.

Simultaneously, Quds Network notes that according to Hezbollah's announcement, the fighters carried out the attack using a "suicide drone" and achieved a "confirmed hit" on the IDF engineering vehicle.

Al Mayadeen Iraq also relayed the report aligned with the "Islamic Resistance" (Hezbollah) position, repeating the claim that the operation was carried out in the Deir Seryan area with guaranteed success.
