Warnings of drone attacks in Russia

On May 7, 2026, it was reported that drone (UAV) attack warnings were activated in several locations in Russia. According to the Lpr 1 Telegram channel, which is identified with a pro-Russian stance and reports on security incidents in Russian territories and territories under its control, warnings were activated in the area of Malaya Lepetiha in the Kherson region.

At the same time, the same channel reported similar warnings in the Sochi and Adler area in Krasnodar Krai. Another Telegram channel, "Темы. Главное", which has recently taken a critical stance toward the Israeli and American administrations and supports the Russian narrative, also confirmed that sirens were activated in the Sochi area.

As of this hour, there have been no reports of damage or casualties resulting from these warnings, which join a series of similar reports on military activity in the Russian rear since the beginning of the conflict. The air defense systems in the mentioned areas were placed on alert following the identification of the aerial threats.
