During the night between May 6 and 7, the city of Dnipro suffered a Russian aerial attack that led to destruction and casualties. According to reports gathered from regional authorities and official sources, at least one person was injured as a result of the attack.
According to the Dnipro Regional Administration (OVA), the explosions caused a fire to break out in an apartment in a five-story building. In addition to the structure that was hit, damage was caused to several nearby houses and vehicles that were parked in the area. The head of the OVA, Oleksandr Ganzha, confirmed the details and emphasized the extent of the infrastructure damage.
Similar reports were published on local Telegram channels such as НУ І ДНІПРО! and Труха⚡️Дניפר, which noted that city residents heard strong explosions before the fire started in the building. The channel 24 Канал, known for its pro-Ukrainian stance and criticism of the Russian invasion, also confirmed the report regarding the injured person and damage to civilian housing.
Channel UA Stream added that the attack took place during the night, while the city was under an air raid alert, which led to panic among residents and immediate firefighting operations at the scene.
