[51878] IDF Battalion Commander admits: Hezbollah surprises us every day with UAVs
Situational assessment on the northern border: UAVs and complex ambushes
According to reports circulated in several media channels affiliated with the Resistance Axis, including الإعلام الحربي - التغطية الإخبارية, Journalist Hussein Mortada, and the Shehab Agency, an unusual reference was made to the UAV threats of Hezbollah. The sources cite an article from the 'Israel Hayom' newspaper, in which the commander of the Ninth Battalion in the IDF admits that "at the battalion level, Hezbollah surprises us every day."
The reports, which gained wide circulation on social media (approximately 5,000 cumulative views among the main channels), highlight the officer's words regarding the operational difficulty facing the organization: "We are dealing with the problem of drones (UAVs) that hover over our heads" (according to the report by the Media War channel).
Simultaneously, Lebanon News emphasized the surprising dimension in the organization's activity, while using terms attributing tactical superiority to themselves against IDF forces. Additional sources such as Nabatieh Hadrat Jabal Amel also noted exposure from other Israeli media outlets, such as 'Maariv', as part of what they call "enemy propaganda," in an attempt to illustrate the severity of the security situation and the technological complexity the army is facing in the Lebanese arena.
The extensive use of quotes from the Israeli press by these media channels is intended to establish a narrative of "achievement" and a security reality in which the IDF is in a defensive position against the capabilities of Hezbollah.
