[51384] Senior Iranian Official: Iran Emerged Strengthened from 61 Days of Fighting; The West and Enemies Failed
Sheikh Abbas al-Kaabi declares that Iran has won the campaign and emphasizes the unity of the resistance fronts under the leadership of the Supreme Leader.
In a comprehensive interview with the Al-Mayadeen network, which is affiliated with the Axis of Resistance, Sheikh Abbas al-Kaabi, a member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, declared that the Islamic Republic emerged strengthened from a period of 61 days of fighting. Al-Kaabi claimed that "Iran won the 12-day war" and that all the enemy's attempts to create internal division, coups, or to employ "soft war" and economic sanctions, were in vain.
According to al-Kaabi, as reported by Al-Mayadeen, Iran today is "stronger and its enemies are weaker" and are looking for solutions to exit the war. The Iranian official emphasized that the "unity of the arenas" of the Axis of Resistance – which includes Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Palestinian factions, the Iraqi resistance, and Ansar Allah – is at an unprecedented point of strength.
Regarding foreign policy, al-Kaabi noted that Iran "has not given up on diplomacy" but at the same time, "its hand is on the trigger." He noted that the late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, instructed senior officials to prepare for the appointment of a future leader and even to prepare three deputies for every senior position, which, according to him, indicates the stability of the regime and that there is "no problem, split, or disagreement in decision-making."
In conclusion, al-Kaabi clarified that the Iranian system operates in full coordination between the street, the military arena, and diplomacy, with everything directed according to the "methodology of the Velayat-e Faqih." He emphasized that Iran remains absolutely committed to the "Palestinian cause" and that it continues to turn its focus and support to the resistance systems in Lebanon and Gaza.
