According to a report by Iran International, the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, expressed great anger toward the commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Ahmad Vahidi, following attacks carried out in the Strait of Hormuz, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman without government approval.

According to the president, the government was not updated in advance about the moves, and he warned of "potential irreversible consequences" that could lead to a dangerous regional escalation.

In a harsh response to the president's claims, a senior official in the Revolutionary Guards attacked back and claimed that Pezeshkian "still does not understand his role." According to Hadashot Mehashetah on Telegram, the official clarified that the true center of power in the country remains in the hands of the revolution and not the elected government echelon. According to Iran International, Pezeshkian called for an urgent meeting with the Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, in an effort to curb the escalation.

At the same time, vigilance is evident across other fronts in the region.
