Over the last weekend, several Ukrainian Telegram channels, including Труха⚡️Україна, Реальна Війна | Україна | Новини, and Україна Сьогодні | Новини, reported a large-scale penetration of over 200 unmanned aerial vehicles toward Moscow. The sources, which express a clear pro-Ukrainian line, mockingly describe the event as a "repertoire" or a "dress rehearsal" for the May 9 parade planned in Russia.

According to reports in Інформаційний фронт | Новини | Політика and Ху Київ | Україна, the Russian air defense system was forced to scramble Ka-52 attack helicopters to attempt to intercept the Ukrainian drones in the Moscow area. One of the reports notes that as a result of Russian electronic warfare (REB) interference, one of the drones was diverted and struck a residential building near the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Kremlin.

At the same time, АрміяINFORM quotes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who noted at an international forum that "Russia has announced a parade on May 9, but this time there will be no military equipment in it." Zelensky added that if this indeed happens, it will be the first time in many years that the Russians will not display war machines at the ceremony. In response to the escalation, the channel UA.NEWS reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense appealed to citizens and foreign missions in Kyiv with a demand to leave the city, accusing Ukraine of "attempts to disrupt the parade."
