In the shadow of security tensions, Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz (identified with the centrist opposition) severely attacked the composition of the current government. According to Gantz, whose remarks were also distributed on Telegram channels such as Hot News and Politics Updates, the current government is "narrow and extreme" and has proven that it is unable to defeat Hamas. Gantz called for the establishment of a "broad and stable Zionist unity government that will bring about a real victory," while ruling out reliance on Arab parties.
