Traffic disruptions and water outages on Sheptytskykh Street in Lviv due to infrastructure failure

Following a burst in a main sewage pipe on Sheptytskykh Street in Lviv, the Lviv City Council has announced the closure of the traffic artery in the area until the end of the day. According to reports, Львівич | Новини, known as a dynamic local news channel focused on current events in the city, stated that the work also includes replacing water system connections.

The disruptions are directly affecting public transport. As reported on Львівич | Новини, trolleybus lines number 27 and 32 have been temporarily shortened, with these routes terminating at Kropyvnytskyi Square until the work is completed.

At the same time, Суспільне Львів, a public broadcasting network trusted for official reports from the authorities, confirmed that residents of building number 7 on the aforementioned street are expected to experience a scheduled water outage which is estimated to last until 15:00.

The municipality emphasizes that this is an urgent repair intended to prevent a widespread collapse of the sewage system, and the public is requested to stay updated on changes to public transport routes until the completion of the work in the evening hours.
